Anticipatory rise:

  • Also known as AR, where adrenaline rises before exercise as your body knows you are about to exercsie. 

Oxygen deficit:

  • when there is not enough O2 for the whole body (limited oxygen). This would be found in anaerobic exercise.

anaerobic = limited oxygen = more lactic acid in the muscles as it can't be removed.
