Circuits

Ammeter - measure the current of the circuit 

Voltmetre - measures the voltage of the circuit

Current - the rate of flow of electric charge 

Q = IT Q = Charge I = current T = time

I = V / R 

The current through an ohmic conductor at a constant temperature is directly proportional to the potential difference across it, so its resistance remains constant. However, if the heat increases (filament lamp) then the resistance will increase

Diode - only let the current flow in one direction, this allows us to control the way that a current flows in a circuit 

Thermistor - As the temperature increases
