Electric Fields
electrostatic induction - friction causes transfer of electrons - +ve charge object bought close to uncharged object , uncharged object attracted.
Uniform fields: - same strength at all points - e.g 2 oppositely charged parallel plates- E=F/Q Electric field strength = force per unit charge exerted on a positive charge placed at that point, E=Potential difference (V) / Distance (d) Vm^-1 = NC^-1, F=QE=QV/d. Field lines go from positive to negative
