Electra's Relationship with Orestes

Electra and Orestes' scenes together provides some of the most interesting and moving moments within in the play
As she rescused him and protected him from their mother, she sees him as almost as her own child
She has waited years in a God like admiration for Orestes' return, so that he avenge their father's death; this means she devastated by his "death" and even has suidical thoughts
