How did life in Egypt affect medicine?

WEALTH:                                                                                                                                                                                When the River Nile flooded every year it covered land with fertile soil; this mean that it gave good crops, this is how they became rich. This wealth led to them developing medicine.

SPECIALISTDOCTORS:                                                                                                                               The rich employed doctors/physicians. They spent their time trying to improve their understanding of medicine and health.

METAL WORKERS:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Metal workers were hired to make tools and jewellery; they also made bronze instruments for doctors.

TRADE:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Egypt had wide spread trade links. Herbs and plants were bought along from other countries. These were recommended as medicine,
