HENRY VIII'S WILL
In Henry's will it started that if Edwards was a minor when Henry died that a regency council should run the country along still his son. The council would be made up of 16 members. However Henry's will on this matter was not followed as there was speculation because Henry had not signed the will but instead used the royal seal.
INHERITED ISSUES
Politically Edward had inherited a positive government system that worked successfully with the Privy Council at the center and with Parliament being in control of legislation and taxation. However much like in the reign of Henry viii Edward was faced with extreme problems due to Factional rivalry.
