Bus topolgy-a pattern connecting the computer and other devices to the same communication line.all devices are connected to a central cable called the bus or backbone .there uis no central  computer or server 

advantges of bus topolgy-if one computer stops working the rest will not get affected .easy to diconnect or connect a computer.requires less cable length.

disadvantges of bus topolgy-cant connect a large numbers of computers .if the backbone cable fails the entire network fails .bus topolgy is slower than star topolgy
