Disease

There are 3 broad types of disease:

1) Genetic - You are born with these eg. cystic fibrosis

2) Non-inectious disease - You can aquire it but you cant pass it on eg. heart disease

3) Infectious - You can aquire it and pass it on eg. chicken pox

Infectious diseases must be passed on by organisms. Pathogens are disease causing micro-organisms.
