1) easier participation. voting should keep with technological times. 10 million votes were cast for an X factor show in one night, showing that digital democracy is the way forward.
2) it would give easier access to information so people can become more educated about political issues. there are already many political websites and last year's televised debates sparked an increase of 3% in turnout. digital democracy would increase engagement in politics.
