  • quality is checked throughout construction
  • often made to a higher quality
  • exclusive, specialist, products high in cost due to slightly higher materials and labour costs
  • products can include garments, hats, bags, cushions, curtains and upholstry
  • unlike mass production, one off doesn't follow fashion trends
  • usually no care label
