Diarrhoea
1. Who is it for? How old is the patient? (adult/child)
2. What are their symptoms? Any abdominal pain? Any blood or mucus in the urine?
- Frequently passing loose or watery stools.
- Abdominal pain - IBS or blood - an infection of inflammatory bowel disease.
3. What is the usually frequency and nature of stools? Has this changed? Have they had constipation recently?
- Alternating constipation and diarrhoea are likely to have IBS.
