 DSM and ICD are used to classify mental disorder 

DSM-V (requires one symptoms for 6 months = easier to be diagnosed as SN), used in US

ICD-11 still includes sub-types 

Patients lacks insight to their symptoms = late treatments 

Positive symptoms: distortion of normal functions (adding something to you)

• Hallucinations: auditory/visual perceptions of things that are not present (usally -ve things)
