Given Circumstances - the enviromental and situational conditions which effect the actions and thought process of the character.  

Acting with a purpose -  Doing everything becuase you have reason beind doing it for istance you are cooking because you are hungry

Slice of life - A realistic portrayal of an event that occurs everyday. 

Motivation  - What drives the character (same as super objective

Interpretation - to take an idea and read into it or to present ones understanding of a character and present it too an audience.

 

Objectives 

 Super Objective, objetive for the piece - what does the character want to achive by then end of the play? 

Objective for the line - what are they trying to achive by saying that line either for there benefit or another. 

Obective for the scene - what are they trying to achieve by the end of the scene

Inside objective - what do they want to achive emotionaly by the end

Units - Portios of a scene which enable and actor to decide for that section what they are doing, they should be labbeled with somthing that has relevance to the section and each should have an objective. Units allow you to break the scene up and therefore make it easy to think about the phyiscaltiy of your body and facial expression gesture. 

There was once a couple who had been married only a year they had, had a child and the father was a Banker, the mothers Brother was also staying with them and the brother had learning diffuclties, well one day the father brought home some money and was counting it and throwing the slip of paper that was around the money into the fire which made pretty patterns, and the brother liked watching the fire make pretty patterns with the paper. Now the mother was bathing the baby and really wanted the husband to come and see the baby so she went and asked him to come and look at the baby. However while he was looking at the baby the Brother was annoyed that the pretty patterns had stopped and and so he took up
