* Includes organic shapes and patterns found in nature

* Upright and angular furniture

* Made by hand by skilled craftsmen

Why nature?

* Was against poor working conditions

* Was against the negative environmental impacts of industrialisation

* So he tried to promote the production of quality products

* Used traditional manufacturing technique

Only the wealthy could afford his work
