Descriptive Writing

The sun sat so high in the sky that shadows are almost unseen as it drenched the shore in magnificent colour and glorious heat. Heavy suffocating air sweeps away, replaced by a cool sea breeze and a taste of salt. Scattered figures soak up the rich rays. Children rush into the ocean the moment they reach the beach, while their parents stride leisurely embracing the sensation of the fine silky sand which moves courteously out of the way for each step they take.
