Reward/Need Satisfaction Theory

This theory is based on learning theory and states that we form relationships that provide rewards&satisfy our needs. Rewards include companionship, being loved, sex, status, money, help, as shown by Foa and Foa.

Classical: Byrne we like poeple who we associate enjoyment and satisfaction known as positive effect. Operant: we like those who privide us with rewards and disike thise who dont eg. they're boring
