  • Stage 1 - High Fluctuating
    • High birth rates > Lack of birth control, children need to work
    • High death rate > Disease, lack of clean water, lack of medicine
      • This means population is stable as not much natural increase
  • Stage 2 - Early Expanding 
    • Birth rate remains high > Same as Stage 1
    • Death rate decreases > Improvement in medicine, clean water
      • This means natural
