After the failed attempt at the bay of the bigs crisis the cuban leader fidel castro and the American leader reached a secret agreement to place Soviet nuclear missiles in Cuba to deter any US aggression. John F Kenedy warned them saying if nuclear weapons were being sent across consequences would occur.
