Cuba and missile crisis history

Cuba is 90 miles off the coast of Cuba, before, the USA supported Batista and even though they knew he was corrupt he was anti communist. The main expot for Cuba was sugar, and this mainly all went to the USA.

Rich people went to Cuba to gamble, however although millions of dollars poured into Cuba most of it went into the pocket of Batista without thinking about the starving poor.

This is why Fidel Castro toppled the governemt and returned the country to the people, nationalising US shops. Trade between the USA and Cuba…
