Types of Crime in Medieval Britian:
Vagrancy- After the Black death had wipped out over 1/3 of the nation, many wealthy land owners were willing to pay more than the typical peasnt would earn, so peasnts were moving around. This angered the king and parliment, so they made vagrancy a crime with violent punishments.
Treason- A crime where someone would speak out agaisnt the king or someone with high value of importance and wealth in a manner to make them look bad. This was prehaps seen as the worst crime to commit and was punishable by death by being 'Hung, drawn and quartered'.
