                 - Penetrate glass and plastic 

                 - Reflect shiny metal surfaces 

There is a special glass in microwaves that reflect microwaves to protect humans from their body tissues burning.

The amount of energy depends on the frequency or wavelength 

Remember-The higher the frequency and the shorter the wavelength, the more energy.
