Controlling Blood Glucose
Blood glucose is also controlled as a part of homeostasis. Insulin and Glucagon are two hormones that help control it.
If your blood glucose level is TOO HIGH, INSULIN is ADDED
This allows glucose to move from our blood into our cells
If your blood glucose level is TOO LOW, GLUCAGON is ADDED
This converts glucogon stored into our cells back into glucose to be used in respiration
