Consequences of Collectivisation.

Rural Areas:

+ 1941 all farms collectivised.

+ 1932 750,000 tractors across Russia.

- Tractor hire was expensive so 1/2 of farms were left out of mechanisation.

- 10 million peasants were exiled eg 10% from a single village.

- Harvest 1933 was 9 million tonnes less than 1926.

- Low labour productivity due to low pay and impossible targets.
