Aerobic Energy Production

Aerobic Energy is the use of oxygen

Aerobic Energy production is determined by the ability of the circulatory and respiratory systems to supply oxygen and nutrients for energy through the blood to the working muscles and for the working muscles to use the supply

Eg. Marathon

Anaerobic Energy Production

Anaerobic Energy is produced without oxygen

Anaerobic Energy production is determined by the ability of the muscles and liver to store fuel and the ability of the working muscles to utilise this fuel

Eg. 100metre sprint

Muscular Power - Is about being able to produce a maximum force, or a considerable force with an explosive effort
