Comparisons between the leisure sectors

The volunteer sector was respnsible for the rise in sport, but now the private sector has taken over, with global brands such as Nike at the forefront.

Similiarities between sectors:

-The public and voluntary sector both have to act professionally like businesses in order to gain funding. This means using resources effectively in order to gain maximum output from their input to work efficiently. Private sector businesses are now having to act in this manner in order to be ethical and achieve sustainibility.
