Climate Change Case Study: Africa

Two thirds of the countries in Africa are in the world’s 50th poorest countries, and are badly in debt. These are the countries that contribute the least to global warming, they could however be affected the most. It’s .5oC hotter now than in 1900 and as a result there are more droughts and less rainy seasons. The biomes of Africa include Savannah, Desert, Mediterranean, Tropical Forest, and Temperate grassland. The reason that Africa is so varied is because it is placed from above the Tropic of Cancer to below the Tropic of Capricorn. Climate change would mean the biomes would move northwards if they
