Christians In Human Relationships

The Christian Church often had very strict views of sex and love. These are based on passages from the Bible, because of this Christians are often encouraged to love one another in a non-sexual way. This type of love (Non-Sexual) is called agape, an example of this love is the kind that Jesus showed Christians when he gave his life for them.

Christian teaching is generally that sexual intercourse is wrong unless it happens within a marriage. God intended men and women to live together as married couples but not to live together outside marriage.

Religious Extracts That Cause These Views

"Dear friends, let us love one another, for the love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us : He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another, God lives in us and his love completes us"
