Christians agree that having a child is important for a married couple as it created family and is stated in the marriage ceremony.

Roman Catholics-child is God's gift to couple, conceived as result of loving sexual relationship between husband and wife. Anything else is unnatural. They don't accept treatments involving articial manipulation of egg/sperm in lab. Plus, IVF creates several fertilised eggs, which won't all be transplanted into woman, rest destroyed.
