Christian Views on Marriage & Marriage Ceremonies

Marriage is seen as a gift from God and part of God's plan for creation. The importance of Marriage is stressed by Jesus: "Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate" and these words are stated in the Marriage Cermony.
