The parents of a Christian family are expected to bring their children up to be stewards of the Earth. This relates to the teaching of stewardship. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" - Genesis 1. This shows that God created the heavens and the earth, therefore it is his; and we should take care of his creation.

Parents have a responsibility towards their children. The parents should teach their children about their faith and teach good behaviour. The children are the next generation of Christianity, therefore they should understand and be taught about their religion.

The parents should follow the Christian teaching of Agape in the upbringing of their children. Agape teaches that we should love fellow humans on the planet. The most loving thing to do in this scenario would be for the parents to bring their children up in a kind, loving environment.

The parents should teach their children basic values through their childhood. They should teach respect and honour to their children. "Honour your father and mother" - Exodus 20. This shows that the children should honour and…
