Percentage yield

For a given mass of reactants, it is possible to calculate the maximum possible mass of a certain product that could be made. This mass is called the predicted yield.

The actual yield is the mass of product made when the reaction is carried out for real.

Percentage yield = actual yieldpredicted yield
