Gas Volumes

A gas is a substance which cannot be held, the particles in a gas are full of energy and have plenty of room to move around in.

So, if a gas cannot be held... how on earth do we measure it? 

  • A gas syringe

Some reactions give off poisonous chemicals and therefore should be carried out in a fume cupboard.
