1518 - 1800 over 11 million Africans were taken from their homes and forced to become slaves in America and the Caribbean.

Many of them made huge profits out of the enslavement of millions of black people.

A ship would leave from England to Africa loaded with manufactured goods. Once they had got to Africa the manufactured goods would be echanged and the slaves would be loaded. Then they would be taken to the West…
