There are main stores of energy:

• Magnetic= the energy stored when repelling poles have been pushed closer together or when attracting poles have been pulled further apart. Examples of these are Fride maganets, compasses and maglev trains which use magentic levitation.
• Internal= the energy that a body possesses due to its state and interaction of its parts. Examples of this is the human body.
