Cells: The differences between Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic

?

PROKARYOTIC CELLS:

  •
    • No true Nucleus - Only a diffusion area of nuclear material and no nuclear envelope.
    • No Nucleolus
    • Circular strands of DNA yet no Chromosomes
    • There are no Membrane-bound organells
    • There is no chloroplast present (only in photosyntheic regions in some bacteria)
    • The Ribosomes are smaller (70s type)
    • There is no Endoplasmic recticulum or associated Golgi Apparatus
    • The Cell Wall
