Organisms can be Prokaryotes or Eukaryotes.
PROKARYOTES- Are smaller and simpler than Eukaryotes eg. bacteria. Is a single celled organism.
EUKARYOTES- Are complex and include all animal and plant cells. They are made up of eukaryotic cells
Animal cells contain:
- Nucleus- contains genetic information that controls the activity of the cell
- Cytoplasm- where most chemical reactions happen, contains enzymes that control them
- Cell Membrane- hold the cell together and conrols what goes in and out
- Mitochndria- where reactions for aerobic respiration take place
- Ribsomes- where proteins are made
Plant cells contain all of the above +:
- Cell wall- supports te cell and strengthens it
- Permanant Vacuole- contains cell spa
- Chloroplasts- where photosynthesis occurs making food for the plant
- Chlorophll- inside the chloroplasts and they absorb thr light needed gfor photosynthesis
Bacteria cells:
They are much smaller then the other cells because they are prokaryotic. It contains:
- Cell Membrane
- Cell Wall
- Single strand of DNA
- Plasmids- one or more small rings of…
