Each organism has instructions in the molecule, DNA. The DNA of an organism is its genome, and most cells contain a complete copy of an organism's genome. The human genome is on the 46 long molecules of DNA. Each molecule is in a chromosome.
CB3bi DNA
The DNA is in the nuclei of cells. Each molecule is coiled tightly and packaged with proteins to form chromosomes.
A molecule of DNA contains two strands that go together to form the shape of a double helix. It looks like they are both coiled up tightly, without being knotted or overlapping.
There are 4 bases in DNA: adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine (A, T, C, and G). A and T are always paired up and C and G are always paired up. This is because the match based on complementary base pairs.
