LIFESTYLE AND HEALTH
Risk: the probability that a hazardous event will occur, the consequence of that hazardous event.
Can be measured by % - 0 %= no harm will occur 100%= harm will certainly occur
Needs a timescale.
Risk is relative: comparing the likelyhood of harm occuring in those exposed to hazards with those that are not. There are always other factors that we have to take into consideration.
