Large scale project in Mozambique- the Cahosra Dam.Background the Portuguese government in 1996 started to build the dam. It was disrupted due to civil war. The dam is the second largest dam in Africa. It generates only 1% of its energy is given to Mozambique whereas the rest is sold to South Africa. The dam meant that people had to move from their homes and the fishing industry was severely damaged.
