Case studies evaluation

G: Problems generalising results to a wider population - main focus is just one person & they tend to focus on looking at unrepresentative people (i.e people who have unusual thought processes, mental disorders etc) :(

R: Rich in qualitative data - may be unreliable as they might be highly subjective & the researchers own personal thoughts & impressions might impact the case studies. Even if standardised procedures are used - it’s still difficult to find a similar person to replicate the findings of…
