Cartonboard

There are many different types of cartonboard, here are 4 common ones:

Folding Boxboard

• This usually consists of a bleached virgin pulp top surface with unbleached pulp middle layers then a bleached pulp inside layer.

Applications:

• It is widely used for most of the food packaging you see.

Properties:

• Excellent for scoring, bending without splitting
• Perfect Printing Surface

Cost:

• Inexpensive

Corrugated Board

• Constructed from a fluted paper…
