hen some metals react with acids Hydrogen gas is produced. When acids react with limestone CD is given off.
Hydrogen burns with a sqweaky pop if you hold a lighted splint near the test tube.
cd will put out a lighted split and turns limewater milky
oxygen makes flames brighter and will relight a glowing splint.
Burning
When a metal burns in the air it combines with oxygen to make oxide burning is also know as combustion in a combustion reaction som energy has to be suplied once start the recation will produce its own heat.
