Briefly describe the events that happen in book 12 of the Odyssey (10)

The book opens to Odysseus and his crew fulfilling their promise to Elpenor, and returning to the island of Aeaea, home of Circe. At dawn the men are sent off to fetch the body, and they all ‘perform the funeral rites’ on the summit of the boldest headline coast. Once they complete this task, Circe comes out and encourages them to spend the rest of the day feasting and drinking, which they do. The men sleep by the ships that night, while Odysseus sleeps with Circe as she tells him what will happen next. She warns Odysseus how to deal with the sirens, by tying him up, then she tells Odysseus the two routes he will then face. She encourages him to take the route of Scylla and Charybdis, because this way, only six men will die, not all of them. Circe then warns Odysseus not to beach Thrinacia, the island of the sun God, Helios/Hyperion. She tells Odysseus that if he does, and his men touch and eat the cattle, all the crew will die.
