Brain Lateralization

Brain divided into two hemispheres:

• Left half- Language
• Right half- insuospatial ability and perception

Studies have suggested:

• Men use the right side of the brain more so better at visuo spacial tasks such as map reading and maths. Females tend to use both sides of the brain

The Corpus Callosum (bundle of fibres which connect the two halves of the brain) is larger in females which means they are better at languages and intuition.

Males are supposed to be MORE lateralised as they have a preference for ONE hemisphere where as women use both equally.
