BOWEL CANCER: cancer that starts in the colon (large bowel). Known as colon cancer.
CAUSES:
- smoking
- family history
- obesity
- alcohol
SYMPTOMS
- unexplained weight loss
- blood in your faeces
- severe abdominal pain
- a persistent change in bowel habits
