BOWEL CANCER:  cancer that starts in the colon (large bowel). Known as colon cancer.

CAUSES:

• smoking
• family history
• obesity
• alcohol

SYMPTOMS

• unexplained weight loss
• blood in your faeces
• severe abdominal pain
• a persistent change in bowel habits
