Odyessus and Telemachus are plotting the slaughter of the suitors with Athenes aid.Straightaway Odyessus tells Telemachus that they must hide every weapon and armour so the suitors don't suspect anything, or take the weapons and armour.Odyessus tells Telemachus to lie to the suitors when they question him as otherwise it would cause lots of trouble .Odyessus comes up with a clever lie for Telemachus to tell which is that He has rescued them from the smoke as they look quite different from when Odyessus left them and sailed to troy as the fire has damaged them badly. Also a idea that a God put into his mind that he doesnt want everyone to kill eachother before the festivities have started. Telemachus acts on his fathers orders straight away by calling the Nurse Eurlycleia to side and saying to her 'Keep the women locked up in their quarters until I have stowed away my fathers fine arms in the store room , I want to keep them safe and locked away so that nobody can get to them. Eurycleia is pleased with him and praises him for keeping his possesions safe and also asks who is going to light the room for him, to this Telemachus replies that the stranger (beggar Odyessus is digused as will). Eurycleia goes and takes her orders and Odyessus and Telemachus start to lock away weapoons in the house and Athene the Godess, Lights the house so they can see while they work.Odyesssus isn't that amazed by Athenes powers as he is used to how the powers of Gods and Godesses work as he has lots of experience with them throughout his adventures.Telemachus on the other hand is amazed by Athenes powers as he hasnt had much experience with God's and Godesses as he is young and hasnt been on nearly as many adventures as his father odyessus has been…
