Aim

An expriement to see the dynamics of disobeying and whistleblowing.

Participants

Bocchiaro used 149 undergraduate students which were 96 women and 53 men, they were given £7 or course credit to attend, they had a mean age of 20.8.

Method

- Participants were greated in a lab by a fomrally dressed man who had a stern demeniour, the experiemnter presented them with a seemilngly unjust request and asked them to provide a few names of fellow students and then presented the cover story:

• An Itallian collegue investigating the effects of sensory deprivation on brain function , did an experiement and it had devestating impacts but wanted some more people to complete the study.
