Required definitions:

Somatic Cells - cells not involved in the production of gametes. Mitosis only takes place in somatic cells.

Chromosome - Thread-like structures in the nucleus, containing genes.

Replication - when each chromosome in the nucleus makes a copy of itself (chromatid) to be used in cell division.

ah, shouldn't you name the stages? (interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase) and also about how centrioles produce spindle fibres that pull the chromatids apart? but other than that (Y)
