Biology - Organ Systems is the Body

1. The nervous system:

• Brain
• Nerves
• Spinal Cord

The nervous system controls the functions of the body, sometimes automatically

2. The respiratory system:

• Lungs
• Windpipe
• Diaphram

The respiratory system draws air into the body and expels it. While in the lungs, oxygen passes from the air into the blood and carbon dioxide passes from the blood into the air.

3. The sensory system:

• Ears
• Eyes
• Nose

Provides information about the surroundings

4. The digestive system:

• Liver
• Intestines
• Stomach

Food is taken down and absorbed into the blood
