For a plant to carry out photosynthesis it must have 4 things:
1.sun light
2.nutrients
3.water
4.carbon dioxide
The word equation for photosynthesis is: water+carbon dioxide ARROW sunlight chlorophyll sugar + oxygen
Carbon dioxide goes into the plant via the stomata on the leaves, water enters the plant from the roots in the soil and is carried to the leaves in xylem vessels
